Meet Jason Greene
A Practitioner, Not Just a Consultant.
Everything Jason brings to DiscipleWorks was forged in real ministry — not in a classroom or a consulting firm, but in the trenches of local church leadership over more than 25 years.
Jason's Story
Built in the Local Church
Jason Greene's ministry journey began not with a strategy framework but with a calling. Over more than two decades, he has served in churches of every size — from church plants with a handful of families to multi-site congregations with thousands of attenders. He has sat in elder meetings, navigated staff conflict, led through seasons of rapid growth and painful decline, and experienced firsthand what it takes to build a church that is both healthy and mission-focused.
That experience is the foundation of everything DiscipleWorks does. When Jason walks into a church, he isn't bringing theory — he's bringing the hard-won wisdom of someone who has lived the challenges his clients are facing.
A Global Perspective
Jason's ministry has never been confined to a single zip code. With more than 70 international mission trips across multiple continents, he has developed a deep understanding of the global church — its diversity, its resilience, and its shared mission. That global perspective shapes how he thinks about discipleship, leadership, and the local church's role in God's redemptive story.
He has built partnerships with field missionaries, trained indigenous church leaders, and helped churches develop sending cultures that mobilize their congregations for global impact.
A Published Voice in Ministry Leadership
Jason is also a published author of curriculum and leadership resources used by churches across the country. His writing reflects the same conviction that drives his consulting work: that healthy ministry requires both theological depth and practical wisdom — and that the two are never in conflict.
His resources are designed to be used, not just read — equipping leaders and congregations with tools they can put to work immediately in their local context.
Jason's Conviction
"Healthy churches don't happen by accident. They're built by leaders who are willing to do the hard, intentional work of building systems, developing people, and staying anchored to the mission."
This conviction shapes every engagement. Jason doesn't come to churches with a pre-packaged solution. He comes with deep curiosity, honest assessment, and a commitment to building something that will last long after the consulting relationship ends.
